The UK's Only Lifeboat Adrenaline Adventure with a fully crewed charter

The Voyage By Amity is a charity dedicated to preserving our maritime heritage by restoring the historic lifeboat Amity.

Built in 1962, Amity is more than a vessel—she represents hope, courage, and resilience, and she helped save countless lives at sea.

We are restoring her to full working condition so she can once again serve our community, with a focus on supporting young disabled children, including those living with ADHD and learning difficulties.

Through educational, historical, and vocational experiences on board, we provide meaningful respite that can positively impact children’s mental health, confidence, and personal development. At a time when young people are facing increasing mental health challenges, our programme offers a safe, supportive space that encourages wellbeing and a sense of belonging.

We also welcome the wider public to experience Amity through a range of lifeboat adventures—from guided tours and hands-on activity days to fully crewed week-long voyages where you live, eat, sleep, and explore on board.
